Red Lion Inn & Suites Goodyear Phoenix

Shout out to Leslie for awesome customer service!!! Got my Mom and I in a room last minute and even applied a special. Very clean rooms and beautiful art. The bath room has a nice shower but tv should be upgraded with apps. Happy there is breakfast and thank you to the staff!

We stayed here while visiting City of Hope. The rooms are nice with everything we need. The beds are comfortable as well. There are laminate floors instead of carpet, which is really nice as well. The breakfast had a good selection as well.

Great location for what i need. And the room is nice. Shower is not my favorite, but the rest is just fine. Staff i have dealt with so far are great.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. The rooms were a decent size, clean, and comfortable. While the décor was a bit plain (not a deal breaker), the room offered a good amount of amenities. The breakfast was good and very convenient, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is right off the freeway, which is convenient, though it was a bit noisy at times. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We stayed at the Red Lion Inn as a family of four (two adults and two children, ages 9 and 6) for three nights, from June 19–22. We were in Phoenix for an event at State Farm Stadium, and this hotel was perfectly located—just a quick 15-minute drive to the venue. It was also easy to reach from the airport and is situated in a convenient area with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and quick access to the I-10. Check-in was smooth and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Our room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was a great bonus! There were lots of options, and the two ladies managing the breakfast area were warm, helpful, and constantly restocking items. With the extreme heat during our stay, we made good use of the outdoor pool. It was clean, a great size, and surrounded by a few lounge chairs and shaded tables—perfect for relaxing after a hot day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Red Lion Inn again!

It seems like they may be renovating because there’s drywall dust and stuff in the halls and elevator. However the staff is amazing. I got here at 2 am after a very long day of traveling due to a family member being on life support at the hospital right around the corner. They got me in at an amazing price in a comfortable and clean room. The beds comfortable and I cannot say enough nice things about the amazing lady at the counter who listened to me sob.

Great location. Restaurants and shops located within walking distance. Friendly check in . Room clean and updated and laminate floors meaning no carpet, yay. No maintenance issues. Room had King bed, fridge microwave with its own sink. Comfy chair ottoman. One desk and rolling chair. The exercise room is 24 hrs

Like most people, I went into this stay having read the reviews, the good, the bad, and the dramatic. And honestly? Our experience didn’t match the negative ones at all. Not even a little. We had zero issues during our stay. Breakfast is served from 7–10 a.m., which was convenient for us. The location truly can’t be beat. Proximity matters, especially when traveling with family, and there are plenty of food options within walking distance at almost every turn. It was a major plus for us that the hotel shares a parking lot with Cracker Barrel. Now, let’s be clear, this isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, and it’s not trying to be. But if you’re looking for a clean and relaxing place to stay, this absolutely checks the box. We stayed in a King Suite with a kitchenette, and it was comfortable, spacious, and exactly what we needed. I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the staff here. Every interaction we had was positive. Rochelle, the front desk manager, was welcoming from the moment we arrived and set the tone for our stay. Ciara made check-in smooth and effortless. Also, Kristina assisted us with extra bedding and did so with such kindness that it truly stood out. All in all, I’d stay here again without hesitation. Sometimes it really is a case of what works for one person may not work for another. For us, this stay worked out just fine.
